Thomas Marsden | Thomas MarsdenMARSDEN, THOMAS (1810-76) was born at Hensingham, Cumberland, the son of a resident of Derbyshire. He arrived in Nelson by the Prince of Wales (1842) and took up a property of 900 acres at Stoke, of which he did not get the crown grant till 1852. He also owned land for a while near Blenheim.
