Roderick Ross | Roderick RossROSS, RODERICK, was a brother of the Hon. William Ross (Nova Scotia). He came to New Zealand from Nova Scotia in the Margaret (Oct 1851) and eventually settled in Waipu. He married a daughter (d. 1888) of the Rev. Norman McLeod (q.v.). Ross started a flourmill at Waipu (1859), taking one-tenth of the flour in payment for his services.
