Joseph Greenwood | Joseph GreenwoodGREENWOOD, JOSEPH, belonged to the 31st regiment and came to New Zealand in 1847 with a detachment of the New Zealand Fencibles, of which he was brigade-major. In 1850 he published in Auckland, in English and Maori, a narrative of A Journey to Taupo from Auckland. Greenwood represented the Pensioner Settlements in Parliament (1853-57) and in the Auckland Provincial Council from 1855-57, when he resigned both seats. Auckland P.C.
