John Wallace | John WallaceWALLACE, JOHN (1820-85) was born at Kintyre, Scotland, and came to Auckland in 1856, starting farming with his brothers at Mangere. He served on the highway board and the school committee, and was an elder of the Presbyterian church at Otara until joining the Wesleyan denomination.
