James Wallace | James WallaceWALLACE, JAMES, was a property owner in Thorndon (Wellington) in the forties. He represented Wellington Country district in the Provincial Council (1857-60). When the Government declined to construct the Manawatu railway, John Plimmer and Wallace canvassed for capital and called public meetings.
