Edward Terry Robinson

ROBINSON, EDWARD TERRY (1838-94) was born at Clapham, London. He arrived on the West Coast in the early days of the gold rush. He was a member of the Westland county council, and represented Kanieri in the Provincial Council (1874-75). For some time he was a member of the executive and provincial treasurer. Afterwards he became secretary to the Westland education board, and at the time of his death (12 Apr 1894) was inspector of schools in the Grey district.
