Charles Barriball | Charles BarriballBARRIBALL, CHARLES (1812-80) came to New Zealand by the Westminster in 1843 and resided in Epsom for some years. At the first Waiuku sale (1859) he purchased a farm, and the family settled there in 1860. Barriball was a warden of the Auckland hundred and later a member of the Waiuku road board, but he took no part in politics. He was a staunch Wesleyan Methodist and for many years a local preacher.
